I rented the 22-24 passenger limo bus from Park Lane Livery for my wedding on April 20, 2013. I was not impressed, to say the least. The bus was in a state of disrepair and their customer service was a joke. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE!
When I booked the limo I told Joe that the rear speakers weren't working. He told me he would take care of it. I believed him. On the day of my wedding the rear speakers weren't working. Nobody addressed this problem and the audio sounded horrible.
On our late night return the sound system died. We had no music and the lights kept flickering on and off. Once we reached our destination the bus broke down. My guests and I got locked in the back. The driver barely got us out.
I had to climb back inside through the divider (in my $2000 wedding suit) to get something that was left behind. The driver had to leave the bus on the side of the road because he couldn't get it started. I presume they had to tow it back to their lot.
Basically, I paid $995 for a beat-up limo that they didn't care to fix. It was hardly a party bus with half a sound system. Getting trapped inside was an embarrassment. The most upsetting thing about this experience was how they dealt with my complaint after.
I sent them a polite email asking for a partial refund. A week went by and nobody got back to me, so I called them. I spoke with Tony who started yelling and swearing at me about three minutes into our conversation. His argument was that two speakers are good enough, "just turn them up." He told me that they are not responsible for anything that goes wrong with their limos. "People always have something to complain about." He said he ignored my email because I demanded a huge refund. "Do what you're going to do... Sue me!"
When my wife took the phone Tony became even more belligerent. She felt so threatened that she called the police to file a report. Then she called Joe to tell him what happened. Joe spoke with Tony who cooled down and told us to call Albert, the owner. His attitude was right on par with Tony's. He told my wife that he'll give us some money back if we post a good review online. We're taking legal action. Don't give these crooks your money. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR THEIR VEHICLES.
I actually booked Park Lane Livery in April of 2012 for my mother's birthday dinner. My sisters and I and our families (which included a 4 yr old and THREE INFANT children) wanted to make her birthday enjoyable with no worries. We are a large family now with all the babies so we didn't want to have to worry about designated drivers, etc. We had dinner reservations so pick up was for 7:30pm and they were to pick us up at the restaurant at 11:00pm. They arrived promptly at 7:30 and the driver was great and got us there perfectly. Dinner comes to a close and our Limo is NO where to be seen! The restaurant is closing and still nothing! I get a call that they are just around the corner. 20 minutes later still no Limo! I call the driver back, he is are on his way. Another 20 minutes, nothing! I call him back after calling the office and not getting through to anybody!! The driver tells me they are trying to get another limo out to us as he is still in Toronto (we were in Missisauga). Calls back and forth, yelling, THREE babies upset and tired and a completely ruined night! The restaurant owner ended up calling two taxis for us!! We ended up leaving at 12:30am! Absolutely Ridiculous!!! And they still charged me for half the cost even though we all had to go through such BULL!!! and an evening ruined by it! I still obviously remember it since now it will be a year ago - Never Never book them unless you want to get STRANDED!!
We were very impressed with the service we received. All 3 of our drivers throughout the day were phenomenal and arrived on time. We appreciate the last minute change to our late night return that was seamless, excellent work.
I can not begin to express how disgusted I am with this company. The only thing they want is money and more money.
When I phoned to book, the man who i booked with made it very clear that drinking on the bus was allowed as long as it was kept discreet (which we completely understand) we had plastic cups and no visible alcohol other than a few bottle of beer everythign else was poured in plastic bottles. When the driver showed up he made it clear that there was no drinking allowed, when i mentioned the man who booked it said it was allowed he told me he would let my friends drinks "for the right price". He then proceeded to follow me to the club and harass me until I gave him some money (keep in mind the tip is included in the final price).
When he returned to pick us up, he refused to let anyone on the bus until he got a credit card but yet they already had one on file. He also made an extremely rude comment about one of the passengers which was absolutely disgusting and can not even believe someone would say something like that.
When he finally dropped us off back home, he pulled the guy aside who gae him his credit card and told him that it would cost $300 to clean the bus but if he gave him $150 cash he would not charge him the $300.
I am so beyond disgusted and will never again use Park Lane Limos, I will be calling to complain tomorrow and will not give up until i am given an apology.
I do no know how these people run a company, you people should be ashamed of yourselves.
Park Lane was terrific to deal with throughout the process. Leading up to the event, I had to change the details of my order several different times and they were very accommodating. They were on time and very professional. Without hesitation, I will happily recommend their service.
Attention Roberto, Thank you for cooperating with the challenge of the 2 luxury coaches for the Toronto Star's VIP pickups last evening. Now we all know how difficult it is to maneuver those coaches with 12'8' height under the MTCC overhang. The navigator suvs & smaller luxury buses work perfectly for the VIP guests. Your drivers were all on time and very courteous. The special flat fee of $1,200.00 was appreciated. Will you please express my appreciation to Joe who orchestrated all the last minute details with me to ensure success. As an event planner, I have requests from my clients for limousines. I will not hesitate to use Parklane Livery again.
We have rented their Hummer limo for our wedding on February 4 and our driver Fanous was very professional and helpful. i was totally happy with their service even though they were abit more expensive than others but the service showed itself and it was totally worth it, will definitely recommend others to this limo service.
We used livery for our Wedding service on Jan 21. the service was great and our driver was very helpful I forgot what his name was but we has helping my mom in and our of the limo on a rainy mudy day. it was totally worth what we paid for and I will be recommending them to my friends.
Awesome! The bus was HUGE! Immaculate. Great sound System! Great Lighting! Exactly as promised! We used it to drive 50 teens to and fro a party venue. The whole night was FANTASTIC! Yet...clearly this bus blew the kids completely away! Many comments have stated the bus was the highlight of their evening. Robert the driver was a true professional! Thank you Robert and Park Lane for making our daughter's party the talk of the town...(not to mention talk of the street). Everything we had hoped for and then some! Totally worth the investment! We rented a limo from this company for my birthday #1 credit goes to the driver we were obessesed with him his name was Moe if you really wana have an amazing time ask fr him he was soo cool, the limo was really nice too but i would not write this feedback if the driver did not do an amazing Job since he made our night
Hello we have used livery for our Shopper Drug mart christmas party we received great service, they upgraded us at no additional cost to a hummer limo since we have used them numerous times, we really never had an issue with this company maybe they go the extra mile for corporate but I would definitely use them again
They provided the WORST car service we have ever used. The driver was late picking us up therefore we were late getting to a very important event. We also had some packages to go in the trunk that the driver accidentally dropped on the concrete ground.
We were delayed another 10 minutes when we got to our destination because the driver had to process my credit card manually, although I had already given my credit card information over the phone when I booked the car. The driver didn’t even have a pen for me to sign with. I had to run into the event to borrow one, very embarrassing. Although we booked a round trip with this company, we called a taxi to take us home.
The next day, I called the company to ensure we were only going to be charged for a one way drive & the guy that answered the phone was sleeping & could barely talk. I asked to speak to a manager & he told me there was no one I could talk to, call back on Monday & then he hung up on me.
When I called back on Monday to speak to a manager I got the same person that I had woke up the previous day, he was completely rude and clearly does not know the meaning of customer service. He refused to resolve any of the issues. If you want to avoid terrible service, avoid this limo service! There are plenty of others who actually know how to treat a customer.
I booked a limo with Park Lane because me and some co workers wanted to head down to Niagara. The customer service was great, they answered all the questions I had, and might I add without getting annoyed by me. When the time of service came, they were wonderful...the driver arrived on time, he was very polite, friendly and easy to get along with. THe ride there was very smooth. The ride back was the exact same, very smooth. I got exactly what I was told, I plan on using Park Lane's service in the very near future.
Rude had no ac and it was plus 35 outside. Made no attempt to help us it was our wedding day and al the flowers and hair wilted because it was hotter in the bus then outside. The driver had ac which was the funny thing. Tried calling the company a day after my wedding to talk about our experience and the owner would not diacuss with us and man on the phone told me off. Buyer beware they are scam artists
my cousin hired this limo company for our wedding this past september and we hired them for our wedding on Saturday April 9 the service was phenomenal clean limo, on time and same driver for both wedding his name was Ben I believe, they were quite more expensive than other considering it'a an off season but it was worth our money and we did not want to take the risk by booking with someone we did not know, I always like to leave good feedback about good services that i receive so I am next to my photagrapher now.
I HAD PARK LANE LIVERY LIMO SERVICE FOR MY BIRTHDAY AND IT WAS THE WORST SERVICE EVER. FROM THE PRICE TO THE DRIVER TO THE PICK UP/DROP OFF TO THE LIMO EVERYTHING WAS HORRIBLE AND HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING I WILL NEVER BE USING THIS SERVICE AGAIN
We hired Park Lane Limo for our christmas party on December 4, 2011 and the service was Top Notch as a matter of fact this has been the third year to hire this limo company and they have been great totally recommend them for corporate events. we also heard from our freind that uses them for her corporate transfer that they are great.
We booked this company about 7 days before our event and provided all the credit card information in advance. When the driver arrived at our location he wanted to see the credit card which belong to the company I work for which was not in my possession. There was no notification that I needed to have the card at the time of pickup. Delayed 15 minutes for driver to process my personal credit card.
I had requested ice 3-days in advance since they didn't supply any soft drinks (some limos we have used in the past have) When we boarded the Party Bus, there was a bag which had a minimal amount of ice cubes and appeared to be left over from the week before. We had brought our own beverages to share amongst the 14 of us with enough ice for about 3. Could have stopped for ice but we were about 15 minutes behind schedule.
Also in advance we inquired about the sound system. We actually chose a Party Bus so we could enjoy a little more space and perhaps move around while the music was playing. I had asked if there was a USB connection so we could plug and play some of the music we wanted to hear. I was assured that there was but was only to see a radio with a cd player and multiple dangling wires. The system was probably over 10 years old.
The bus itself was showing the age on the inside, if it wasn't for the fact the lights were off and the seats were customized for a limo, I'd swear I was in a Wal-Mart shuttle going from the ship to the store.
Another group was going to be picked up after we were dropped off so we had limitations as to where we could store our personals. Needless to say, everyone had to take their coats which resulted in additional inconvenience. Once again, no communication in advance or a decent place to store our things.
We were to be picked up at midnight but the driver didn't show until 12:15am. I understand there was traffic but the driver never gave me his cell # in case there was any cause for an early or delayed pick up. I did have the office phone number which I attempted to call numerous time just after midnight but that was answered by a forwarding number to cell phone voice mail box which was not even customized so I had no idea who I was leaving a message for.
Overall, there were plastic cups provided and the driver was very pleasant. I hope he received his 15% gratuity as it was mandatory at the time booking as per the company policy.
Please be careful if you decide to book with this company. We have 3-4 events per year and we WON'T be contacting this company again for the above mentioned reasons.
Perhaps we might hear from them when I forward this link. I did request a call back to discuss these matters but to date, no one has contacted me but wait, they already have my money.
