I recently helped plan a pub crawl for my college in halifax and made arrangements to include peddlers as our second stop after some live music for about an hour beforehand. our goal obviously is to keep everyone together, have a great time and get to know each other better. once we reached peddlers (15 minutes before cheap drinks) the bouncers at the door turned away a few of our members because they looked too young. everyone is of age at our school let alone a weekend pub crawl. i spoke briefly with the manager who kept passing it off to other people where i found myself addressing the bouncer himself. he told me a number of excuses being rude and telling us all to leave when 5 minutes earlier we paid $6 to go inside. i requested our money back from the manager as well as the door person which we were unsuccessful. again addressing the bouncer politely he literally grabbed my neck and pushed me away.
my rating for the peddlers pub bar and grill is very low because they failed to accompany 35 people who were seeking fun and entertainment. other reasons include the attitude of the staff was very repulsive. of course i would not rate them on this experience a lone, this has been consistent upon visits to peddlers.
I highly recommend going out on the town for a great night of music and entertainment in Halifax Nova Scotia, just DO NOT GO TO PEDDLERS.
