The almost all female Pink Painters is managed and owned by Miranda Jacobsen, who graduated from Mount Royal College with a Bachelor of Applied Small Business and Entrepreneurship. She has also managed a franchise for Student Works Painting, where she won the “Manager of the Year” and “Most Improved Manager” awards in the same year for western Canada. Clients had made comments that they liked having girls paint their house because they were neat and their attention to detail was extraordinary. This is when the idea of Pink Painters was born.
