I should have known from the first call, when Sean had to cut me off and said he would call me back "We are so busy". Must have forgotten. OK, I can handle that. I called back and set up appointment, which he was an hour late for "We are so busy". Have to give him credit, he did call to say he would be late. Gave me an estimate for the job (small Bath reno), which seemed reasonable, and said it would take a week to complete. Thats when things got bad. he asked for payment for material up front which was $2500 and now we were at his mercy. To make a long story short, the job ended up taking more than a month "We are so busy" and we had added nothing to the job. But the material cost just kept going up daily. He forgot this and found that he needed this. By the end we were up another $1000. More than a third the original price and 3 times the original time frame. Always late, if they show up at all and never had time to clean up after themselves at end of day. "We are so busy" By the smell of things the next day it seemed their first beer of the day was more important than sticking around to clean up.
I'll get to the point. Said they were but they are NOT - Drywallers, Tilers, Painters or Carpenters.
They ARE - Terrible estimators of time and material and in my opinion not very good plumbers.
Make sure and ask to see credentials. ie. Journeyman ticket. Im not sure they even have those.
