Honestly - this is the first time I have ever stayed with the same stylist - currently apprx 2yrs. Olga of Quinn's seems to know my hair as the cut is edgy and colour "to dye for" I highly recommend. Olga always makes room for me without taking away from other clients. Quite a multi-tasker but the results! Always smiling - even when changing slightly (at my request) she always surprises me by making it even better than I imaged. Yes ladies - Olga is my secret weapon to looking my best!

  I love Olga, she's the stylist I go to, I agree with everything you say! My color lasts soo long when I get my hair done that six months later people still ask if I got it done...partly due to my shampoo and how I take care of my hair of course, but Olga does amazing work!

I moved to Calgary almost 3 years ago and was still in search of decent stylist. I have had several experiences at several different salons, and all have been leaving me less than satisified. I was looking for a change, and found Quinn's. That being said, if I had read the reviews below, I probably would not have gone to my appointment. However, I want to say that blaming the salon is ridiculous, yes he/she may have made a mistake, but that is the stylist fault, and not the salons. I walked in and met with Maurice, he was very professional, and fast, and did an amazing job on my hair. Needless to say I will be going back to Quinns's and will be going back to Maurice!

I recently had my hair cut and colored at Quinn's for my company Chrismas party. The stylist was great, she was friendly and very talented. The best part was my cut was free with the color. I already booked my next appointment in the New Year.

I used to work at this Salon. It was a great place to work until it was sold! I left because the new owner only cared about how much money she could make and did not care about the clients hair at all. I feel for all of you that have had a bad experience there my advice to you is to stay far far away. They do not know what they are doing and are only in it for the money.

Quinn's is by far the worst salon I have ever visited! To sum up what happened to my hair at Quinn's see the review below (ANON 1010). The exact same thing happened to my hair! The girl who did my hair was awful. She was too busy doing other things around the salon to realize that she left the dye on for far too long. My hair actually fell out! She did not give me what I wanted and did not offer to fix it after (not that I would let anyone at this salon near my head again). The service I had at Quinn's was terrible, not to mention extremely expensive for what I got. I ended up having to spend even more money getting it fixed at another salon. The stylist was appalled and said I should report the person who did this to me. Not sure how to do that however. It is now damaged beyond repair.
unless you want to go bald, DO NOT go to Quinn's!

  I went to the Better Business Bureau about this salon, they have yet to respond.

This is my opinion and my perception of the events that took place.

Though this may seem dramatic.

I am telling you this only because I care and I know we all care about hair :) My hairdresser moved away. Therefore out of convenience I went to Quinn's on 10th Street in Kensington. I will not get into details. I can only tell you that I left that place with neon yellow, orange and white hair. Some of it falling out ( minor amount ). In addition I have sores..yes sores. Some open on my head..(sorry if this discusts you) However I don't want it to happen to anyone else. My head literally has something similar to a sunburn.
I headed to a much more replicable place on Sunday and had them do what they can to fix it. The hairdresser there was shocked. They cannot dye my hair due to the condition of my scalp. They could not comb it or cut it etc. Doing what they could they did a great job fixing it.
Quinns claimed they were not done. Due to the condition and pain my scalp was in however I wasn't willing to stay. They will not take ownership for what happened though they offered to fix it I'm sure you can understand why I refused to go back there. I was scared and did not trust the judgement of the people working there.
All I can say is, do NOT go to Quinn's.
There is no avenue to report such incidents therefore I thought this the best way to let you all know.

I went there and got my hair butchered!!! And they did nothing about it . . . then threatened me and then offered 15% off my next cut there. ????? They cut over 4 inches off instead of the 1 inch that I asked for and it was retardedly uneven, then cut a chunk out beside my face. I do not recomend any one going there.

Had my hair done yesterday and am completely in love with it!!! I'd recommend any of the stylists here-this place is fantastic :)
