...because I am there most days of the week. I love the Red Room for many reasons.
a) I always get the sexy waiter
b) No one bothers you when you want to sit by your onsies, read a book, and have a beer
c) It's also a fantastic place to go with friends
d) It is also great for cozying up with a date
e) The food is cheap. Really cheap. Nothing over $7. Fantastic.

In conclusion, feel free to go to the Red Room, just dont take my favourite table (maybe its a booth, or a couch, or on the patio. I'm not telling!)

PROS:
cheap and delicious booze and food, great for a myriad of occasions

CONS:
sometimes spotty service

  i am all for price reasonable food .. but sometimes you just have to wonder where do they cut corners to get such low prices ;-)

  i hear you on the spotty service. for the most part its good but sometimes it can feel like you're a hinderance to them or something.
  
  the only other con is that the patio is really small...on busy nights, you'll be lucky if you get a seat, even if you do wait around a while.
