We bought our home from an agent who works there and the first rainfall after we moved in we experienced a leak and over the next month developed about 10 different leaks. The agent denied about ever having leaks and lied many times and changed her story around multiple times. We took her to court but got screwed and she lied through her teeth many times. Would never go through Royal Lepage or any other criminal organization like real estate agencies. They are out there to screw you I am sure. Too bad you can't give 0 stars or I would
what i want to know is...how is the leak the agents fault???
Sorry, I didn't mention that the agent is selling her own house.
Well that makes so much more sense!
You should always have a building inspection done before you buy the house.. it's really so important. It will show you things that the owners/agents either don't know or don't want to tell you about.
We did have an inspection but the guy seemed to not check for any signs of leaks.
