Guess what?!?! Kat is reviewing another vegetarian restaurant! Deal with it, Im veg :)

Sadie's is a new diner (months old..not sure quite how many months) catering to the veg/vegan crowd. Their brunch menu is small, but has tasty choices. I had a breakfast burrito with tofu scramble instead of eggs (havent been able to get back on the dairy wagon after some recent food poisoning), and soy cheese instead of regular, and their homeade guacamole. The meal was big, great for a hangover, and delicious. My one complaint was the guacamole- my recipe is way better.

Our meal was tasty, the service is super friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect. The walls are adorned with artwork from local artists, and the tables are cute-ified with kitschy salt and pepper shakers.

Sadie's is also a great choice for anyone concerned with keeping green. They use green shift (www.greenshift.ca - get your local vendors to switch) biodegradable paper and feed all of their food scraps to animals on local farms.

PROS:
tasty food, eco friendly

CONS:
so-so guac
