My wife and I have an investment property and we were fed up with mom-and-pop plumbing shops whose staff are all very friendly when they're there but won't call back in a timely way when you report that a problem wasn't fixed correctly. A friend recommended Safari so we tried them as our latest attempt to establish on ongoing relationship with a company that wants us to use them more than once. They turned up within hours of my cold-call on a weekend. I'm pretty sure Safari is somewhat more expensive but didn't bother to compare; I just want good service. For the moderately higher rate, however, you get professionalism worth its weight in gold. The plumber worked quickly and identified the mistake the previous guy had made without badmouthing him. He also made it clear that our problem might re-occur (I like honesty more than good news) but guaranteed to reimburse us for the part if we had to call Safari back in. What sold me, however, was their use of customer surveys to keep an eye on the quality of their staff's work. And who ever heard of a follow-up call from a plumbing company to make sure everything worked out ok? I was happy to sign up for the plumbing insurance plan they offer, which seems so generous as to be a no-brainer. I simply gave my tenants their number should another problem ever arise. I wish I got this kind of service from my bank.
