I'd like to say that the best thing to do in the great city of Montreal is to Visit the Notre-Dame Basilica, or tour the old city, or the Biodome. No, turns out it's the Segway rentals on the waterfront. Combine the fun of zipping along at 20 mph while standing upright with miles of waterfront paths, bridges and open areas. It was a blast. So much fun that we did it again the next day. We had already had our lessons - a mandatory 15 min which is absolutely needed because the way you move on a Segway is different from any other device you have ever piloted. And on day two the give you the 20 mph key as opposed to the 15 mph key on your first day.
I don't know if we will ever see hundreds of people commuting on these but they are clearly awesome for exploring a new city.
PROS:
anybody looks cool on a Segway
CONS:
too short!

i loooooove segway .. its so much fun, mostly going through a challenge course or what's it called. How far can you take them? just along the waterfront or anywhere you want ... and how long can you rent it for? and how much is it? lol ... ok i think thats enough questions for now :-)
