When I first moved hear last fall I read a review or two about Shampoo Hair Bar and went because it sounded good, fun and was in my neighbourhood. The main stylists may be good but I was given a "Junior Stylist" who colored my hair but didn't get close to my scalp with the foils so I had huge roots upon leaving plus she missed a huge chunk in the back. I am a friendly person but she didn't talk to me until the last 15-20 minutes when she became very friendly and animated about selling me all of the Bumble and Bumble (or whatever) products on her shelf. Man, I just do not have an extra $500 for hair products nor do I like being played. I should have gone back to get my hair re-done but I just didn't want anything to do with the salon.

What a fabulous hair salon! I hate fussing with my hair, as in I do nothing to it, and the stylists at Shampoo are wonderful. They know how to cut my fine wavy hair so it always looks good. Staff are friendly, the owners involved, and the atmosphere is funky and relaxing, nothing pretentious. And then there's my husband...nobody but Amy is allowed to touch his hair. Highly recommend this salon.
