My wife and I were attending a church function. There's almost no parking nearby; we parked in the Staples parking lot at their 250 Front Street East location.
The store manager had us ticketed--a $30 ticket.
We had been a GOOD Staples customer, but no more. We always heard that they were one of the worst business chains in terms of how they treat their employees. Based on how they treat their customers, I totally believe it.
They don't have to worry about us ever parking there again--or worry about us spending any more money in their stores. We spent about $1,500 at Staples last year. Now all of our money for computer and school supplies will go to their competitors!

This is by far the WORSE store I have ever dealt with. Have you ever tried reaching someone by phone to see if they carry a particular ink cartridge or anything else? No one answers. Every department I called, no answer. I left the phone on speaker and waited 20 mins on hold. No one answered. This is a prime example of why "customer service" is so important to the customer. I will never shop in this store. EVER.
I just recently bought a new printer for home/office use. I wanted to save money on inkjet printer cartridges which seem outrageously expensive considering how often I have to replace them, and so was considering getting a b & w laser printer. For my colour printing needs, I have decided just to get things colour copied. My salesperson, Mike, was interested in my requirements and was very helpful and knowledgeable about printers and costs. He also enabled me to take advantage of a sale that had just ended the day before. I always go to this Front St Staples - they maintain a good inventory and are always helpful.
