Needed a crack fixed in our basement. Submitted a request online and got a call the next morning. Had someone in our home fixing the crack in 3 days. It has been a month and even with the huge rain we have had lately not a drop. We are very happy.

I rate the work done as top notch. I called on a Monday and an appointment was made within 2 hours for the work to be done the following day. Hurricane Sandy provided a lot of rain resulting close to 15 litres diverted to a bucket overnight. Fantastic service. Amazing work. Jason gave the basement a thorough inspection and advised on the best method to waterproof my home. I thought it was just a simple crack, little did I know under closer inspection there were cracks into the home beyond that of the crack in plain site. I contacted the Crack Doctor to solve a problem with water in the basement. The person on the phone was professional and sent some one out later that week. The person they sent out examined the problem and determined it was a result of leaking plumbing versus a crack in the foundation. He was very thorough and if I ever need the services supplied by the crack doctor I would call them to solve my problem. I would recommend them based on their professional service.

crack rerpair done in June 2008 remained good until June 2012 when 1 i/2 inches rain fell in little over one hour. Some seepage occured but was repaired three days later free of charge under Crackdoctors guarantee.

Like most people, we thought waterproofing a basement involved either a coat of paint or extreme reconstruction. When water began seeping into our basement, creating horrible black fungus, we decided to do it right (as Mike Holmes would say...) and called this firm based on the professional look. A salesperson arrived, assessed the site, gave us a quote (a little higher than we expected) and arranged for the work. The two young men who showed up were thoroughly professional and courteous, worked quickly, and explained what they were going to do and how it would solve our problem. When completed the same day they again explained what the work involved. We have not had a heavy rain since, but the 100% guarantee makes us feel confident. Recommended without reservations.

When I called 'The Crack Doctor' the sales person at the other end of the phone was very courteous and polite. They took the time to explain and provide a detailed overview of the process the technician would use to repair the crack in my foundation. They were able to give me the exact cost for the repair. I booked the appointment for the following Friday morning (the sales person informed me the technician would arrive at my home between 9am and 10am).


On Friday, the technician (Jason) called ahead to introduce himself and to inform me that he would be on site within the next 10 to 15 minutes. This was great as it gave me the opportunity to get the dogs crated prior to his arrival. Jason arrived at 9am to the minute; right on schedule with the time the sales person had given me. This was pleasantly surprising (I've been given arrival times from past companies I've dealt with only to spend half my day waiting around for a technician who shows up hours later then the time which I was given).

Jason was super friendly with amazing customer service skills. I spent almost the entire 2 hours downstairs watching the repair and Jason explained every step he was performing during the repair in detail. I didn't want to pester and wasn't going to watch over his shoulder for the entire job (the majority of trades people I've encountered seem not to really want you watching over their shoulder) but Jason actually encouraged me hang out. You could tell he really enjoyed his job and he liked taking the time to explain the work he was performing. The pride that he took in his work was beyond top notch. Being a trades person myself I could tell that the quality of his work was his number one priority (he wasn't at all concerned with time and he wasn't rushing through the job and trying to cut corners like so many other trades people I've witnessed).

At the end of the job, Jason took the time to clean up the work area. I told him not to worry about it and that I would vacuum up but he insisted on taking care of this. He left the work area CLEANER than when he arrived. Wow, a technician who still takes pride in their work and knows that the job isn't over until the clean-up is complete.

This company is registered with the BBB and they have an 'A' rating. I only deal with companies registered with the BBB and with an 'A' rating I have peace of mind knowing this is a company I can trust to stand behind their work. They give a LIFETIME warranty on the repair (and the warranty is TRANSFERRABLE!! if you sell the house ... unbelievable!!). What this tells me is that this is a company which has a very high level of confidence in both their product, in their repair process and in their technicians!!

I really really hope I never have another crack in my foundation in the future but if I do, this is definitely the company who I will call to do the repair work!! I would have given them a rating of 10 stars!! but it will only allow me to select 5.

Just wanted to say that the team did excellent work.

The team arrived promptly and worked tirelessly for 2 days resolving our weeping tile issues.

When they were done I had a clean job site, a walk-through and a warranty.
