If anyone is looking for a beautiful and elegant venue with great, mouth watering cuisine, the Royalton is the place to choose. Our daughter and son-in-law were married this past weekend at the Royalton Banquet Hall in Woodbridge and the event was exactly as she had dreamed about from when she was a little girl, and more. There are no words to describe how thankful we are to Tony, Mario and Peter for all the hard work and thoughtfulness they put into making this dream come true. With only five and a half months to plan a wedding, they set everything in motion for us and personally became involved by sitting down with us, answering any questions we had, picking out a delicious menu and to finally putting us in contact with people for flowers, music/entertainment, and decor, all of whom were able to see and more what our daughter envisioned for her big day and who were all easy and extremely pleasant to work with. From the family engagement party held in their cozy Sili Room, to the stag held in one of the elegant halls, and finally to the wedding day itself, every event held at the Royalton was perfect and they were always accommodating with any last minute changes that had to be made. You know how good a place is when the day after the wedding people could not stop talking about how delicious the food was, from the antipasto bar with the risottos, polenta, trippa, and so much more to the main course of gnocchi, beef tenderloin, succulent shrimp tails and finally the coconut ice cream not to mention the sweet table and sliders served at 11 p.m. The food definitely was a 5/5 - excellent, and the service was professional and impeccable. Everything ran smoothly and like clockwork. Yes, I would definitely recommend the Royalton - a beautifully elegant venue for any event where you receive excellent food and top notch service.

I just celebrated my bridal shower in the Sili Lounge at The Royalton Banquet Hall last week. Not only was the room itself chic and modern, but the food was spectacular and the service staff was stellar. It all went off without a hitch. They made it seem so easy! A highly recommended venue! Thanks to all that were involved - I'll never forget it.

My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding at the royalton (April 13, 2013). The venue is spectacular, the food is fantastic, and the service is superb! Our entertainers of Lady Luck Productions rocked out and hyped everyone up with their engaging performance! The in house dj (emporium) kept everyone on the dance floor and set a positive and upbeat vibe through the night! They are all phenominal! All in all a wonderful experience! My daughter loved her communion at the Royalton. The service was excellent and the food was awesome. The appetizers were displayed beautifully with a caprese salad, shrimp, figs filled with cheese and wrapped in prosciutto. The lasagna and beef tenderloin tasted amazing as well.

Mario and Peter were very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Given the size of the hall, they recommended an unconventional approach to the table set-up and decor which gave the room a nice lounge feeling. It was truly spectacular! Well done!

Celebrated our son and daughter's first communion and confirmation at the Royalton Banquet Hall in the beautiful Lounge Room they offer. Contemporary feel to the room with a beautiful bar area and loungin areas to sit back and relax after a fantastic meal. Our guests enjoyed unique and very enjoyable courses ranging from figs and goat cheese wrapped in proscuitto, caprese salad towers drizzled in a pesto balsamic glaze, to homemade pasta in a perfect tomato sauce wrapped in egglant and cooked with goat cheese, to an amazing chicken supreme with a veal tenderloin with asparagus and roasted potatoes, finishing off with a desserttrio of cannoli, creme brulee and choccolate covered strawberries.

Amazing meal and perfect for a family function with high end restaurant experience. Service was fantastic and truly catared to any special needs we required.

As a professional stager and interior decorator, first impression, presentation and fine details are very important to me. The Royalton Hospitality has met and exceeded my expectations above and beyond from the moment I walked in right through to the end of the event.

I was planning a 50th Wedding Anniversary event for my parents who back in the day never had the possibility of a “dream” wedding. It was my pleasure to plan a magical evening for the two most deserving people in my life. I wanted the event to be perfect! I knew I came to the right place when I first met with Mario De Cicco, the event co-ordinator. With his knowledge and expertise, he explained eloquently each course starting from the hors d’oeuvres to the dessert and before I knew it, the perfect menu was planned. He made me feel comfortable and at ease that on the night of the event; he was going to be there by my side making sure that the event was going to be as perfect as I envisioned. Throughout the preparations, I also had the privilege of working with Peter, who assisted me in creating the perfect ambiance, floor plan and chain of events. I trusted he knew exactly what he was doing. He was ever so patient with me with my many questions and my last minute changes right up until the last day.

On the night of the event, as promised, there they were; both Mario and Peter by my side making sure that everything was going as planned. I was able to greet my guests with contentment knowing that with a wink of an eye, if needed, Mario and Peter were ready with anything I needed. The co-ordination between these two individuals was impeccable! They were professional and blended in perfectly like gentlemen. I was very impressed! The wait staff were professional and efficient, the bar was fully stocked and the food….well…the food was perfect! It was tasteful, delicious and served at the right temperature. Every fine detail was perfect! As the evening drifted flawlessly amongst the stars, my vision of a magical “dream” wedding for my parents came to life and I can certainly give credit to the Royalton Hospitality for that.

I would also like to extend my appreciation to Silvana and Michelle for being hospitable during my visits. They always offered me a coffee or tea upon my arrival and my messages were efficiently delivered.

Therefore I do take pride in rating the Royalton Hospitality as the BEST event venue in the GTA and I will highly recommend this venue as the host for anyone’s next event.

We got married on April 30, 2011 and had our reception at the Royalton Banquet Hall in Woodbridge, it was amazing...the service was great, the venue was clean, elegant, sophisticated and organized. We were very pleased with the level of service and we had not a care in the world. Mario provided a level of confidence that gave us no reason for concern because we knew the venue was very well taken care of. We highly recommend the Royalton.

We got married on April 14/12 and had our reception party at The Royalton Banquet Hall. It was the easiest decision we made and would do it all over again!

Mario has welcomed us with open arms from the day we stepped into the venue on Mother's Day. We didn't even have an appointment but he was very accommodating to see us that same day. In just a short time, nick names and jokes were quickly exchanged and we left his office with confidence that we made the right decision.

During the wedding preparations John & I had questions for Mario & Peter. Never did they make us feel like we were bothering them. Instead our phone calls were answered and our emails replied.

The day of the wedding I had no doubt in my mind that 1. I was going to marry my love and 2. the venue will not disappoint us. Mario & Peter not only met our expectations but went beyond with their hospitalities. The food was fresh and delicious. The bars were fully stocked & the staff were friendly. I would highly recommend The Royalton as you won't be disappointed.

I don't know where to start! The Royalton staff is the best staff in all of the banquet hall industry, they're perfectionist, they go above and beyond your expectations to make sure EVERYONE is happy! I encountered a lady Tony the day of my shower who so kindly introduced herself and told me anything i wanted she would take care of- all my guests were more than pleased with the food, and the service. I also encountered a slight problem with the mic -it was resolved within 2 minutes. Peter at the Royalton is the reason for all of these positive notes. He is a great man who makes sure everyone is always happy and smiling. My party wouldn't have been the same without him! I cant wait to go back and have another party.

The Royalton Banquet Hall has blown my mind! I'm still asking myself how a business 40th anniversary function with 400 people could run so smoothly. But the answer is simple!!! Peter & Tony!!!! Two remarkable men with such class and great taste. Not one person that night had one bad thing to say!! I am still receiving compliments about that night. I think having our company function at The Royalton was the best we made...I look forward to celebrating our 50th there.

Beautiful, Stunning, Impeccable, Extraordinary!!!!!! Those are the words people used to describe our amazing wedding at The Royalton! Our guests were blown away for the second time! My sister and brother-in-law got married at the Royalton 2 years ago and our families were so impressed with the whole experience and execution of the shower, stag and wedding, that my husband and I didn't even think twice about booking all 3 of our events at The Royalton as well!

I remember calling Mario the day after we got engaged, he was so excited and happy for us. He is the most genuine man we have ever met. He welcomed us again with open arms and gave us another experience we would never forget! From the moment we walked through those doors a year and a half ago to the moment we walked in to the hall the day of our wedding we were treated like family. Mario and Peter were so very accommodating, patient, helpful and had amazing ideas for us to make our day perfect and unique! When Joe and I walked into the hall the day of our wedding our jaws dropped...it was absolutely breathtaking. It was our dream wedding come true. It was our winter wonderland and exactly what we envisioned and planned for the entire year. Our meal was spectacular! The service was impeccable! The food was served fresh, hot and was cooked to perfection! Mario, Peter and their staff ensured that all the tables were served simultaneously so all our guests were able to eat together. We had a 350 person wedding and we were finished eating dessert by 9:00. Their swift and efficient pursuit of delivering timely service allowed everyone to get their dancing shoes on and partied the night away!!!

The memories created at the Royalton on December 8th will be in our hearts forever, once again Mario and Peter, thank you for making our dreams come true! Love ya

Our wedding this past October was PERFECT in every way possible all thanks to Mario, and Peter and all the staff at the Royalton. From the first day we met with them a year and a half ago, up to the actual wedding day - they have been nothing but helpful and supportive in the preparation of one of the biggest days of our lives.
We were very happy to have Peter around the night of our wedding. He checked up on us multiple times throughout the evening and made sure everything ran smoothly. In addition, the managers and staff were always ensuring the bride/groom and guests were being taken care of and were very helpful. We didn't have a wedding planner, nor did we need one. The service was impecable. They had everything under control so that we didn't have to worry about a thing and we were able to enjoy every minute of the night!
We are still receiving comments and compliments today about the venue, the service and of course...the FOOD! The food was absolutely delicious (Antipasto bar: a HUGE hit!!), and the guests were blown away by the quality and quantity of the food.

Overall, fantastic experience, we are so happy we booked with The Royalton, we could not have asked for a better night!

The main course recommended by Mario was a cooked to perfection veal tenderloin with a peppercorn sauce. The roasted potatoes were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside - a Royalton staple. The elegant asparagus bundle was wrapped with a carrot. A gourmet meal served to over 300 guests !

And last but not least dessert was a warm apple blossom served ala mode.

The staff were very helpful to the organizers of the event. The feedback from our members and guests was positive and complimentary. As my Zia said "Che buon mangiare sta sera!"

We want to say a big "Thank You!" to Mario, Peter and all the staff at the Royalton who made our wedding reception in September 2012 such a success! They took care of every last detail. The reception area was set up beautifully and they did a great job incorporating all of our little touches. And the food...it was spectacular!! Everyone raved about the food for weeks!! Dinner was not only delicious, but served hot which is not something I can say about many other weddings I have been to! Also Mario was always checking in with us to make sure that everything was fine, and really made sure that the night stayed on schedule. All in all, everything was exemplary, and we would certainly recommend The Royalton!! They made sure that our wedding was absolutely perfect. After months of planning every last detail of our wedding day, James and I could not have felt more comfortable handing over the reins to Mario, Peter and the staff at The Royalton.

Everyone's attention to detail was incredible. From beautiful passed h'ors d'ouvres during cocktail hour, to topped up wine during dinner, to gorgeous late night station presentation, everything was perfect. Food was not only tasty, it was HOT, which is much more than one can say of many wedding meals, let alone some restaurants. Our guests raved about the meal all night long, and we've been getting texts, emails and messages since Saturday about the meal!

Mario and Peter and our event leader, Marta, made sure there was not one snag throughout the entire evening. If my husband and I, our parents or a guest had a request, it was fulfilled within minutes - with a smile.

All in all, the guys were born for this job - they are hosts through and through and not only know the importance of great hospitality, they demonstrate it. If you're looking for a wedding venue that will knock the socks off your guests, look no further than The Royalton. You won't be disappointed.

To Mario, Peter and the fabulous, attentive staff at The Royalton. As I write this the day after our daughter Julia's wedding, I cannot say enough about the fabulous evening we had last night at The Royalton.
From the cocktail hour to the late night food stations, there is nothing we would have changed. Mario went out of his way to ensure that our every wish was met and his atention to detail went above and beyond as he checked in with my husband and I at every stage of the dinner service. The food was delicious and HOT. Our guests left the reception raving about the food,the decor and the attention given to them by the staff. Imagine, every time you left your seat, your server would show up out of nowhere and refold your dinner napkin for you - who does that??? The Royalton does!!!

Again, thank you Mario and Peter. It was a pleasure working with you from our first meeting to our farewell hugs last night.

We would like to tank the staff at the Royalton for hosting a wonderful wedding celebration for our daughter. We very much appreciated the attention to detail for all aspects of the reception. Mario and Peter were very hands on. They also monitored all the events to ensure our guests felt truly treated. Our families just finished celebrating the Wedding Reception for our son and new daughter-in-law, this past weekend.
Being from out of town and not knowing the area...The Royalton hosted our Rehearsal Dinner the evening before the wedding and the venue did a wonderful job. The table setting was much like a mini wedding and the food was delicious. We were able to provide a 4 course meal with wine and beer for a fair sized number of people and everyone commented on how wonderful it was...and couldn't wait to see what the next day brought.
We were able to take a sneak peak at the venue that evening as it was being set up, but it in no way prepared us for what we walked into after the wedding! It was exquisite and stunning and one felt like one was walking into a dream. The lighting added a warm aura to the magic of the decorating and the centrepieces at each table.
Again, we were not disappointed in the multi course meal, all served by very personable and professional staff. The guest ages varied from 4yrs of age to 89yr of age and all ages in between and everyone was attended to and had their needs met very easily. The food was beautiful in presentation, variety and served in their appropriate temperatures....the 'lasagna bundle' was a big hit and I would highly recommend that and the ice cream crepe dessert-nice and light after a big and fillng meal. The meal was not rushed although I think the wedding party put the starting time behind with a delay in their arrival. We also had access to an anteroom for our cocktail hour and again, the food served was delicious and well presented.
Mario and Peter were excellent hosts and attended to every detail. The wedding party were frequently asked if everything was all right...were there any needs to be met, of which there were none. The two men were quick with responses to any emails sent and they made it seem as if our wedding was the only one running that night, despite the other venues at The Royalton that were in use as well. We can't remember being at a wedding were the dance floor was FULL all evening. Thanks to the crew for dusting off the Bird Dance for the youngsters at the wedding...despite it not being much of a requested song......the floor was full and wings were flapping!
As I wrote to Peter in my first email of congratulations....being from out of town will probably not have us use the venue again. However, I would not hesitate to recommend it to people in the Toronto area. Despite it being in Vaughn, with sleeping accomodations very close by....The Royalton should be a venue you will want to see as you begin the task of finding 'the right place'. Make it your first stop and you will have one task quickly stroked off your list!
