I was extremely disappointed that they sold puppies there (obviously puppies from puppy mills) and the condition that they were in was horrible. I saw at least three puppies jammed in a small cage with sawdust-like flooring and feces everywhere, not to mention the urine all over the puppies' fur.

The customer service wasn't the best, either. I asked an employee if they had a specific item I was looking for, and after acting confused for a moment, she said "Oh, we got rid of that. No one bought it", making it seem as if the product was unsatisfactory and "not good enough" for Total Pet.

Overall, I was very disappointed in Total Pet and won't be supporting their store.

Bought a cocker pup from there...for the amount i paid for her was a nice addition to the bunch of visits to the vet and their bills...she came riddled with ear mites and worms... they did offer me an I.D tag though.

They have acceptable customer service; not always the best but more then the average. I found their customer service Reps to be knowledgeable, and eager to assist in anyway they could. The store is better equip then small privately owned stores, but not an amazing selection.

All in all, its a great place to get the basics as well as some more specific items for Aquariums and Reptiles.

Very very poor customer service in all stores I have been in, staff have no knowledge of animals they sell, will not shop there again.
