We stayed in this motel last year during an extended trip throughout western Canada.

The room was clean but the decor reminded me of a 1970s era motel that would offer hourly rates.

The worst was later in the evening when we tried to get some sleep. We could hear lots of noise and voices of people with very small vocabularies. I called up the front desk to complain but nothing was done. Another call an hour later resulted in the night manager hanging up on me. Sometime afterwards, he called again to say he would ask the noisy ones to leave. I did see two people leave the motel on foot, but they returned an hour or two later. WE got hardly any sleep that night.

Lesson? A cheap motel in a crummy area is a bad way to save few dollars.
