The guys at Regent were no less then awesome...and that goes without saying. They were professional, customer friendly and informative.
I was very pleased with the speed of the service and the technical knowledge behind the equipment they rent.....thanks alot guys...
But I think that corporate should stay on top of the operations that they have....where I was told to drop off the equipment hadn't been in business for a year and a half.
When booking, I was very concerned the total bill would exceed $200,the limit on my credit card. First contact with an agent -(one of a least five)- shouldn't exceed $200. EXCEEDING $200 WAS MY BIGGEST CONCERN. Not once did any of the agents mention cleaing fee of $25 and tax. Even on leaving the lot desk, there was not mention of cleaning and tax.
On the chance that it might, contacted credit card office and had an increase of $25 approved. Received the invoice exeeding it by $30.
Our truck #AA99642 has very poor steering - driven by a journeyman mechanic.It was very difficult driving.
I mentioned this to several agents. We had the assurance that our truck was in GOOD condition. NOT!! The interior light in the trailer part of the truck wouldn't stay lit.
My rating would be half a star - no choice, I have to indicate one star.
After completing my move with UHAUL REGENT of Winnipeg in June of 2011, I shortly thereafter received two collection notices from a debt collection company; what for? I have no idea! Uhaul had my address in Alberta, but for some reason choose to send me extra charges via a collection agency without invoicing me first. Thanks for messing up my credit rating without even sending me a Uhaul invoice!!!!
