My husband and I moved a few weeks back through Vega line moving from Toronto ON to Vancouver BC and used Alex as our telephone estimator to figure out our quote and he did a great job calculating our price. Our weight was 1,000 lbs. less than the estimate. Communication was superb, driver and helpers were great.
They did it and they were truly the best company that we could have chosen. The driver laid out carpeting along our home and runners not to dirty our floors, put up cardboard all along our stairwell walls to not scratch our furniture or walls and it was a professional service all the way through. We tipped them for the incredible move they did for us. We will refer anybody that we know and wish them all the best in the future.

I have read through every review, both good and bad and this is why we decided to use them. Vega Line Moving Services took care of our belongings, were prompt on both ends, reliable and honest, which we found to be uncommon considering we'd moved quite a few times over the years. Their handling of our furniture, artwork and valuables was absolutely splendid, not a single item showed up damaged, not even a scratch. They marked each of our boxes and disassembled our bed. We moved from Toronto ON to White Rock, BC .We had a three bed room house in Toronto definitely did not go unnoticed, their estimated quote was nearly $4,000 and the final price was under $3,500. Our family thanks Vega line Moving employees for all their hard work. We would use them again for another move if we need to move in the future.

DO NOT USE VEGA LINE MOVING UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! They are by far the most unprofessional, untrustworthy and rude business I have ever dealt with - if you can even call them a business. I dealt with the Vancouver office and they are all less than qualified. Alex refused to return my calls, messed up 3 times on schedule times and tried to charge me on his mistake. After wanting to collect MY belongings after a month when i was told 7-10 day delivery after pick up, they refused to answer me and I called 18 times in a row to be hung up on every time after Alex would rudely make some snide remark. Surely you have to be older than 10 to work at Vega Line?? Debbie is rude and was smart enough to hang up on my lawyer (yes, it had to go that far). And Mert's quote obviously did not include $200 in hidden fees they decided to add on. WARNING: the good comments posted here are clearly by vega line staff, they are FRAUDULENT and not accredited by the BBB. PLEASE do not use there services, I GUARANTEE you will be disappointed. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!

On February 15th, I had to move out from my place in Hamilton to Vancouver. I called Vega Line Moving Services and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Mark Guzman. He was very kind and made the whole procedure very simple for me. Asked me a few questions regarding what I had in my place and gave me a quick quote. The price was reasonable and we moved on to schedule a date. He took care of all the documents and arranged the move.

On the moving day I got a call to confirm with me the team was on the way. 3 gentlemen arrived on time with the right equipment ready to work. Without wasting any time they got everything inside the truck and by noon we were out my house.

I received my goods about 9 days later as Vega Line Moving promised. I have to admit everything went faster than expected. None of my furniture got damaged and it arrived its destination on time…

We came across Vega Line Moving completely by chance; I had called another company in the yellow pages that were unable to fit in my move date, and when I asked for a referral to another mover, I was directed to Alex. It speaks highly when your peers recommend you, and Vega Line did not disappoint! We hired them to help load our stuff and pack our furniture without any charges. Not only did Alex go out of his way to make sure that all of our belongings were packed with the utmost consideration for the long cross country journey ahead, but he made maximum utilization of scaling, and ended up using 216lbs less than we had been quoted for. Lets just say their government certified scales saved us more than paid for the movers, which I thought were most reasonably priced. The guys were prompt, efficient, and did their work with a wonderful sense of urgency; always a great thing when you're getting a service from a professional team :) The final testament to their good work was when our stuff got to Calgary, and not only was NOTHING damaged, but the movers we had hired on this end complimented the excellent packing job. Like I said, when you have peers in your field complimenting you, you know you're doing something right! I would strongly recommend Vega Line to anyone that is looking for a mover in Ottawa and serviced areas; they should be the 1st choice in movers!

I hired Vega Line Moving Services for my move form Toronto, ON to Edmonton, AB. They were reasonably priced and because the company rep promised me that the way my items would be picked up on a decided date it would be delivered at my new home on my requested date. I was OK with the condition and scheduled my pickup date 6 days before necessary. The pickup boys came at 8 a.m. in the morning and started according to their working policy. Thay did greta job.
The delivery boys and the truck drivers were equally punctual(they arrive in Vancouver after 7 days as they promised)and hardworking as the pickup boys were. The moving team from Vega Line Moving did not only value our furniture, computers and other articles while doing our house move, but they understood the true value of our time. It was very easy to schedule the time with them.
I am satisfied with their work and will recommend them anytime.

Vega Line Moving & Storage Services contacted me after I filled out a form online requesting a moving quote. They informed me of their In-Home estimation services and that if I was interested in setting up a time and date to have this done, I could get someone to come to my home and estimate how much the move will cost according to everything I was moving and this cost would be binding meaning the price of this estimate wouldn’t go up. I never knew this service was available and I am glad they told me about it. So needless to say, a man by the name of CJ came to our house condo and I walked him through the house showing him everything I planned on moving and he had his laptop, marked in there everything we looked at, and printed out an estimate right there on my dining room table. It was awesome! The quote was the same if not better than some of the others I had received but the main thing here was I knew the price wouldn’t go up later with this company because of the binding estimate I received.


My experience with Vega Line Moving & Storage Services was actually really good, which surprised me after reading so many horror stories with just about every moving company I had looked into. I trusted Vega Line Moving the most because the Sales rep. (Mark) that I talked to was really good at answering all my questions.


Vega Line Moving & Storage Services was truly professional and courteous. We had a lot to move over a long distance. We moved from Vancouver, BC to Winnipeg, MB and needed a long distance moving company who could handle the load for a family of 5. The movers came in on time, evaluated the situation, created a plan, began disassembling furniture that needed taken apart, placed tags on every item leaving the house, and made sure all of my family’s belongings were protected properly with moving blankets and boxes.


Once we finally arrived at our new home in Vancouver, the guys evaluated our new home and noted where we wanted everything to go. They covered the floor with their floor mats (due to snowy weather). While unpacking we didn’t encounter boxes or household items placed in the wrong rooms. This made the unpacking process much easier for us. As I was unpacking, I noticed that nothing was broken. Everything was in perfect condition.


I have moved before, but I must say that this is the least stressful move I have ever experienced. I recommend Vega Line Moving & storage services for anyone looking for a more pleasurable and stress-free move. Because they are not afraid to ask questions and they make sure that no stone is left unturned. There were no moments of panic at all because of something that was not done. That’s because everything was done right.

They were incredibly patient with us, and the fact that we had to share the freight elevator with all the other people in the building. They brought humor to what could have been a very traumatic day, and ended up making it a very fun experience for us all.

We schedule our move for February 01st and the movers were hour and half late and they cancel us at last moment when they found out that we are moving from 3rd floor with NO elevator. We called lots of moving companies and finally we found Vega Line Moving Services. They accommodate our last minute move. Vega Line Moving sent me 4 movers since we are on the 3rd floor. Movers were very professional quick, knowledgeable, efficient, polite and they were working as a chain in the walk up . They wrapped all my furniture and they helped me with dissembling of my big wall unit which was a big headache for me. They took care of all my belongings. Everything went well on the pickup date in Toronto. 8 days after, my shipment arrived in Vancouver (as they promised). We had a elevator time slot and the building management didn't alow us to move in ( building management sucks). I didn't know what to do next. I was feeling very helpless and I talked to mover supervisor and he told me to call the office if they could be of any help. I call Vega Line Office and talked to Mert. He was very kind to me and he let me store my stuff overnight in the truck for no extra charge. I had to sleep in the hotel that night. The next day, we met at 9 and they unload everything. The movers helped me unpacking all my stuff. They even help me with the placement of my big wall unit and set up my bed. The movers really helped me a lot. They were very nice and polite to me. I tipped them well which i think they really deserved it. This is how I ended my move. Thank you very much to all Vega Line Moving team. I'll recommend you guys to all my friends and my family.

When my husband and I moved cross country from Montreal to Winnipeg several years ago, we used Vega Line Moving and Storage Services and were very pleased with the service. We ended up using them again when we moved to our new house a year later from Winnipeg to Calgary, and that was also a positive experience. And finally I used Vega Line Moving again (3rd time in 7 years) for our move from Calgary to Victoria. I thought I should take some time and write a review after 3 successful long distance moves with the same company.

Our move from Calgary to Victoria was paid for by my husband’s company, and was part of an arrangement with the relocation company hired to handle all the details. We let Vega Line Moving know when we would be moving, and they had a representative get in touch with us. The customer service rep was very pleasant and set up an appointment to come and assess how long it would take for packing and what special things would be needed.

The rep, Tim, talked to me about what would be going and what wouldn’t. He also wrote down things that would need special packing materials and estimated the amount of time it would take for the packers to do their job. He allowed two days for packing and the third day they would load everything, cars included, and drive it away. I knew it probably wouldn’t take two days, but figured it was better to have the extra time should we need it. Tim was professional yet friendly, and had the good grace to compliment some of our furniture.

On the allotted day, three men arrived and got right to work. They put down thick drop cloths over the front door threshold leading into the foyer and taped down large pieces of cardboard over the rest of the slate tile floor to protect it from scratches and gouges. They also laid down cardboard on the highly traveled areas of carpet.

The supervisor seemed quite happy as he surveyed our rooms, stating that this job would only take two days and not the allowed for three. A little later, more men arrived and there were probably about five working in the house. Another man with carpentry supplies showed up at some point and got busy in the garage, making crating for our marble topped table and a marble pastry board.

They did a great job, packing up everything carefully in lots of paper, even if it was some old toothbrushes and a sock with holes in it. My husband and I had tried to do a lot of cleaning, giving away dishes, furniture and lawn supplies. We even hired some guys to haul a lot of useless stuff off to the dump. Yet we still ended up with odds and ends in cabinets and closets. The packers did ask me if they could throw away some empty cardboard toilet paper tubes, so they must have recognized something as garbage.

All the packing was finished on the first day, and the loading took place on the next. We got to meet the driver and talked to him about how long it would take and when we would get to see our goods. We were moving into an apartment for a month until we could find housing, so our furniture would be going into storage (they provide 5 weeks free storage).
Before the truck left, the move supervisor walked through the house with us to make sure that everything left in the house was what we wanted left behind. Then they locked the doors and drove away with almost everything we owned in the world.

Once we had secured a house in Victoria, we called Vega Line Moving Vancouver Branch and arranged for our goods to be delivered. The crew on this end was wonderful. 4 clean men came and start to move our precious goods to our final home in this world . They were very careful and professional. It was a rainy day, and they covered our floor with runners.

After the movers had gotten everything in the house and the beds and dresser set up, they went through the paperwork with us so that we could make sure we had all the boxes. They were all numbered and they were checking them off as they brought them in. I had a hard time following it all, but the supervisor seemed on the ball and even went in search of one numbered box that wasn’t checked off on the list. We signed it all, gave the tip and said good-bye. Oh, I should add that the packers were supposed to unpack as well, but they told us that if they did it, all they would do is take the stuff out and leave it where it was. We could unpack at our leisure and call them to come pick up the empty boxes later. That is what we chose to do.

Damages:
We had a big, round fish type bowl that was broken in the trip. The supervisor was going to fill out a claim form, but we didn’t bother since it wasn’t that important to us, having been left behind by my husband’s first wife when she moved out. The biggest problem came when one of the guys was a bit hasty in screwing our bureau mirror onto the wooden frame. The screw holes came through the wood and were visible from the front. We called about that and the person my husband talked to arranged to have a representative come out. The man they sent was able to repair the mirror so well that I couldn’t tell where the holes had been. We also had an antique footlocker style trunk, and one of the leather strap handles was pulled out on one end. Fortunately, the repairman was able to fix that too.

We were very lucky to choose again Vega Line Moving and Storage Services. I don’t think so we will move again (I cross my finger), but if we move we will chose Vega Line Moving one more time.

I scheduled a move with this company in hopes that they would be able to accomodate us. We were a local move in Richmond BC, going only a few blocks away, and their company was only about 10 minutes away from us. I spoke with Debbie and I let her know that we were moving from the airport, she said that was no problem. I then looked up their rating on BBB and she gave me a huge story about how the BBB are doing their company a disservice and it is not their fault. I then decided to give them a chance. I initially scheduled the move for 4pm but they then asked if they could come at 2pm, we agreed. We received a call the day before the move letting us know they would be there at 2pm, they did not arrive until 3pm, and also arrived with a loaded truck. They claimed that the job was too big and they could not do it. Also that it would take longer than the three hours that we planned for, although I insistently told her days before that it would most likely take longer than the three hours and we went over pricing. The men get there and say they are not doing the job because it is too long to get in and out. Now remember, I told them it was at the airport, what did thay think it was going to be? We then asked them to move for the three hours scheduled and just move the furniture, we were told that their boss told them to leave. Basically all and all they left us high and dry with no mover.

They will probably respond and say that we did not give them enough information or that we were trying to cut pricing corners, but that is not it entirely, I told her the cost did not matter, and she even stated on the phone that she should have had them come out and assess the move first, so it is their unprofessionalism that caused us to be without.

The worst thing of it all, was that they showed no remorse for leaving us stranded without movers. 3:45pm I was told it is too late for them to move anything for us now. Although our initial moving time was 4pm. ...

This company has too many excuses for their shady business tactics, and they show no remorse for doing it.

I RECOMMEND THAT YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE WHEN YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A RESPONSIBLE MOVING COMPANY, FROM THE OWNER DOWN TO THE MAINTENANCE ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED....
