I came in to try their classes on Feb 4th and the sales manager offered a 10 day trial for the whole facility. I had to sign the contract for a year, even though I had 10 days to walk away from it. He also suggested that I pay my last month’s deposit to minimize paper work down the road. I was told that if I decline the membership; this deposit will be reversed on my credit card. On Feb 11th, I made a decision NOT to stay with Venice and requested to have my card credited for the deposit amount. He told me that they don’t do that and that instead they’ll pay via cheque week of Feb 15th. Today was my third phone call and the woman at the reception was extremely disrespectful, told me that she will not give me the name of the owner or their accounting contact. All I want to know is when I can pick up my money. They lied to me about reversing the charges directly on my card and now I can’t even get a contact who is responsible for payments. Please stay away from this place. It runs more like a mob than a reputable organization.

To me it doesn't matter if you post an add for how bad venice is even onthe China wall. You have to understand that everything has a procedure andprocedures have timely deadlines. your check is being processed and sentto your home. If you are impatient that's your prerogative.This morning i was extremely busy and intended to return your call in theevening as reception gave your message.Unfortunately reception have limited knowledge about events of this sort.So as it takes 10 days for you to try the gym and all the services that weoffer and it takes you 10 days for you to decide if you want to join ornot it also takes time to process a refund. It's not the end of the worldthat you didn't join and it's not the end of the world that I have to giveyou $60 back. Patience is a virtue.You will get your money when it's here.When? not sure yet.When I know you will know. Have a good day and thank you.
