I have been to verdi on numerous occasions and have to say that the food is some of the best ive had for a banquet hall. It's always fresh and the customer service has always been top notch. The venue itself is classy. The owner and son are very accommodating and easy to get along with. Overall great place to party.

The decor was BEAUTIFUL! probably one of the best I've ever been to. the food was good, and the service was okay. I had a fun night, but then.. I'm just a thirteen year old girl ( :

This banquet hall is a Bride's worst nightmare. One year before my wedding after booking with Verdi for my wedding in January 2008 my wedding was in August 2009. He called us and told us he wanted us out because he had a bigger party with means more money in his pocket. He tried paying us an extra $1000.00 for our time and invitations. He was leaving us with out a banquet hall after we sent out some invites. He is a terrible business man.

the food was great. both the owner and his son were amazing. they treated the event like it was their own with the hands on touch.

will definitely recommend others to check it out!

It's like day and night since the new owners took over. The food was horrible and the service was just as bad. The place still looks nice.

I agree with Emily82. I talked to the owner as well and the level of customer service was very poor. He was not helpful at all, made sarcastic comments on simple questions. I think he just doesn't realise that he is being rude or impolite. Maybe it is just his way of dealing with people, which is not a good reflection of his customer service skills.

Really terrible that you had such a bad experience Emily 82 but we just went there on June 2, 2009 and had a great time. the owner was there on time (i presume) cuz we were a bit late. He was very thorough and we even got an awesome deal! he even said we're welcome to drop in anytime on the weekends to check out other events taking place there and to sample the food, as not all the events are fully Halal. We LOVED the decor. The mirrors added a great designs and really differentiated it from other halls; even the foyer was impressive with the baby grand piano! And the fact that it's seconds to Hwy 427 is truly a +++!

I have been to a wedding at this hall before and it was amazing so my fiance and I decided to go check it out as a possible site for our future wedding. What we didn't know is that the hall is now under new ownership and has been recently renovated. While the renovations look great the owner is a complete ass. We booked an appointment to meet with him and when we showed up the doors were locked. When we called the number (which is his cell phone number by the way) he stated "oh...did we have an appointment??" and that he would be there in 15 minutes. He of course showed up late and then didn't have any concrete numbers for us to work with and gave us no straight answers to any of our questions. The owner of this hall does not what he is doing and clearly will not uphold the previous reputation of this hall. Needless to say we have now booked another hall.
