I purchased a size 9 mens pair of Westher Spirits Snow boots for my 11 year old son. I paid $68.53 with taxes. I bought them back in March of 2011. It is now April, 2011 and the boots have completely fallen apart. I did not save the receipt because after two weeks of wearing the boots, I figured there was no reason to.
The store manager so much as called me a liar and said that the boots were obviously way older than I stated because they were in such bad shape. She offered me $3.00 becasue that is what the sku was coming up as. So, I said I might as well take the $3.00 then they could not find the sku!! So, who was the liar? As soon a she approached the customer service desk she had a defensive manner about her. I walked out of there extremely dis-satisifed. You think that paying that much for a product that they would last at least a season, or have some sort of guarantee.
I will not ever be shopping at Walmart again. They claim roll back on pricing, I think it is roll back on quality and customer service training.
