Very bad experience !!!

Be careful with their unwritten and untold policy. Once you buy an item from them regardless if is in good condition, sealed or not....which happened to me (lady shoes were in the same box and never worn), they will want to enter into their computer system your home address. I used debit as the method of payment and there was no need to enter my address. So...next time be aware...the manager assistant which worked during this time (September 18 2014 approx. 8:00pm in Burlington Mall, tattoos on the arm) really doesn't understand that this policy violates the privacy of a consumer by disclosing personal information. Not only that she does not understand why this policy is enforced, but she refuses to handle the situation even though she is told that she will get a bad review on net. I mean...if I was the assistant manager and I was told that the customer is pissed and will give me a bad review knowing that the customer owns a Computer company...I would try to solve the problem...

Right choice children entertainment...

We had a horrible experience with the right choice children entertainment because they sent us a clown named Big Red who was abrupt and abrasive with the children while making balloon animals/figures. Big Red the Clown snapped at a young autistic boy at the party for being loud and yelled for the boy's mother to control her child. The mother was humiliated, the boy was in tears, and the other adults present were shocked and angered by the way the clown handled the situation. Big Red the Clown entertainment show was marginal, nothing exceptional. Balloon sculptures were big and eye catching and some children were excited to participate for a chance to get one from his' show. But after witnessing the way he conducted himself, several other parents and I refused to allow our children to interact with him - we didn't trust he would speak respectfully to our kids. Incompetent service dept

As a result of our Honda Fit being rear-ended, I brought this vehicle in for some insurance body work on July 28, 2014. We chose not to proceed with the insurance company “preferred shop” as we felt the service and workmanship would be superior at Honda. The repair was to take four days, as specified by my insurance adjustor and the head of the service department at Meadowvale Honda. I called on Friday, August 1st and was told the repair was not completed, and it would be a few more days. I called again on Wednesday, August 6th and was told the repair still was not completed. Finally, after a number of calls, the car was finally ready for pickup on Thursday, August 14th.
I went with my son to pick up the car and noticed that there were scuff marks on the newly placed bumper, a scratch on the front fender (that was not pre-existing), and the driver seat was dirty from body filler dust. An Honest Review

I arrived to Ottawa September 7 2014 and I checked a few motel/hotels for availability, price and location for my needs prior to stopping at the Highway Inn Motel. I am very familiar with 2 star and 5 star accommodations, and thought I would stay at this motel. I spoke to the manager Al for a few minutes prior to deciding to stay there because it is important for people to feel comfortable with the people attending to your needs if you are going to stay in an unknown place.

After speaking to the manager "Al", I found him to be quiet honest and up front about the facility he managed. He had told me they are still under going some changes with renovations which have been taking longer than expected due to the owner, and that they are may not appear to be as fancy or luxurious as other locations but they pride themselves on how they treat guests. He was very polite and willing to answer my question regarding price, rooms and amenities.

These positive reviews always make me laugh.Some of them are obviously the owners/managers or others acting on their behalf.They usually go on about how nice and friendly the staff(themselves) are or non important unrelated chatter,like the one that mentions it is beautiful waterfront.As previously mentioned they have been trying to sell for a long time,the waterfront is not even visible from the rooms which front the opposite side,the highway.
This place is exactly how it looks old and tired.As others have said if the outside does not tell you that as soon as you walk in the office the smells and looks tell the rest.
I like most people when looking for a place look at price for whats being offered,no extras at this place.Did not even have phone,decent tv,s or internet when I was there.Hell like another person said in their review you cant even drink the water and I too was given a taped together heater to supply heat to my room,a fire hazard that took forever to warm the concrete walled room.
Seeing as they offer nothing other then the room,I have no idea of why "John" and the other positive reviews go on about "friendly" service and being polite.I usually EXPECT someone taking my money to be happy about it,given there is nothing else offered here one would not expect much more interaction other then check in and check out and the condition of the place and reputation they should be quite happy to take anyones money.
Believe what you want but my belief is they will carry on as they have I the past,doing the minimal amount of repairs and cleaning and upgrades and keep hoping they can sell/unload the dump for big bucks based on the property line going to the water.
I for one would place a higher importance on having a clean odour free room with up to date furnishings and linens in a good clean state,drinkable water and a proper heat system then having someone put on a happy retail face when taking my money while telling me don't drink the water or "sorry we do not have or offer that",when you ask for something most other motels offer.

We are in town for a month doing construction. So we were looking for cheap close to the job site. Omfg this place isn't worth more than 45$ a night. The water is "from a well" says the owner. Im sure it's from the river. Water smells like sewer. Literally. We spent 2 nights here cause other cheap places were full. Ive showered once in 3 days cause im scared of the water. The beds are destroyed. So un comfortable. My truck would have been better. No joke. The bathroom is fkd every way possible. You name it.. heating doesn’t work. Im sore as fk csuse the bed is beyond fkd. Im really not a picky person but my god. How does this place stay in business?
The balcony on the second floor is cement. On the south side one of the supports has rotted through and rebar reinforcement rotted and cement cracked. Its been reinforced with a 2×6 wood lol. Wtf some one will die when it finally comes down. Like really. Wtf. Avoid at all cost. We had no choice cause as I said all other places in the price range were full. We reserved at another place for same price next week. Cheap but clean. A world apart from this sht hole. If only I coupd post pics too.. just believe me and others when we say. Stay away. Find a cardboard box and stay there is you have to. Travelers Haven is down the road. Book there instead. We are going to stardust motel next week. For cheap id highly recommend it. Same price as here and very well maintained. Fk this place. I only hope I can work after this bed fkd my back a second day in a row.. Im petitioning to tear the New highway motel Down !!!

They take forever to respond to messages (up to a MONTH, if they respond at all), they say they will 'call you back' but never do. "Reliable"?? I think not!!

They are sneaky, crooked scammers. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Wedding Service is Appalling!

We used Majestic Limo Services this past August for our wedding. When we first met with the owners they were very pleasant and seemed as if they were running a great company. We soon found out that we were wrong! We had paid for the wedding package, which in our agreement had stated it would include red carpet service, a wedding sign just married, the driver to be opening doors, etc. We had paid for a package of four hours, and I had let the owner know we would be late coming to the limo if our pictures went longer than anticipated, however we were paying by the hour so we are entitled to take as long as we need. On the day of our wedding, the limo driver was in a foul mood. We ran 45 minutes later than our pickup time, and when we went to the limo, the driver did not greet us, there was not a red carpet, there was not a sign on the limo and the driver did not hold open the door. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I had a problem with a wash machine and lost $6.25. I called the company 15x within a 2 week period and NO reply. I've gone to the store to hopefully run into a manager/owner however no luck!

I know for a fact someone goes by daily to empty the machines as well as to maintain the laundry mat so there is obviously a person "in charge". I'am now going to go the municipality and c if this is a legit business or what?!

I will NEVER give them my business or refer them to anyone. Let's just say it's the "principal" although its a small amount of $, it's still MINE and I had hoped for someone to rectify the problem.

There is NO excuse on the owner/managers part for not calling me back other than they don't care about there customers. I advice future customers to keep away from this place and take your business elsewhere.


The only reason you see a 1 star rating is cause there is no choice of a ZERO rating, I had to choose it in order to post my review.

Poor paint job - horrible experience

I was recommended by TD Meloche Monex (my insurer) to get rear driver fender fixed since I had someone reverse into a parked car. I requested a minivan, when I went there they had a small car. My vehicle body is gray/silver and they painted it more toward beige. There were clear-code drip marks everywhere and paint on rear light housing. Had to go and back three times, still not the best job. I had complained to TD and Carstar no avail. Now my car has different shades. Never again will I go back!

Great Store to do business with

I came in to your Dundas Street, Mississauga store on September 23, 2014 and was looked after by Iman. I was there to buy a new washer and dryer and didn't want to spend a lot of money. She was extremely courteous and very helpful. There was no "hard sell" to try and talk me into something more expensive. She simply told me about the products you had in my price range and that there was a VIP Invitation Only sale the following Friday and that I could save money if I wanted to wait until then. I went in on Friday and ended up spending more than I intended for a floor model that she showed me. All-in-all a very pleasant shopping experience. I would recommend your store and especially Iman (and Elmo) who finalized the deal for me. Thank you both.
