I am new to Calgary and need to find a new dealership that I can take my vehicle into for service and this is what I found. I was treated like I was an inconvenience to them for asking them to work on my brand new vehicle. Obviously this business has too much money and doesn't deserve any business.

The Sales and service staff at Southgate Chevrolet is fantastic! I highly recommend this dealer to anyone in the market for a new vehicle.

I was ran off the road and hit a parked car at fairly high speed ( 70 km to 0 in a few seconds, other car written off ). front bumper was destroyed but surprisingly there was little cosmetic damage. After the accident all the inside lights would flicker when car would tilt a bit and car would shake terribly when applying brakes. speaker got loose on driver side as well. The insurance pointed me to southgate since we bought the car there. Body shop fixed car but mechanics did absolutely nothing. I had told them about every problem. I was told it was a front shock so anything behind bumper was fine. they refused to even look at it or call insurance saying that I was making them waste their time. Does it mean seatbelt are useless since we sit behind bumper? Got car back and nothing had been done whatsoever. Car still shaking and light still flickering. And even though they say they never checked the speaker, the door handle was glued in place instead of screwed in. We took the car to another dealership and paid to get real mechanics to look at it. break disks were completely warped and the light flickering came from a lose ground which southgate refused to even look at since it was behind bumper. Costs us hundreds of dollars to fix what southgate was too lasy to check... I would not recommend this place to anyone unless your car has no problem and you just want to waste money. Manager never bothered to call back, after 2-3 calls. Shows how much they care...
