Yen's been my hairdresser for over 4 years and I always leave feeling ecstatic about my hair! I've moved around a lot between the GTA and York but I always travel to Yen to get my hair done because I want it done right and done beautifully.

Not only is Yen extremely talented, but she's a wonderful person with a heart of gold! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair, period.

I've been going to the Verve for over a year now. I read a lot of good reviews about how Yen (the owner and stylist) pampers and accomodates her clients so I checked the place out. True to their testimonies, Yen gives only the finest service indeed. She never fails to greet me all-smiles by my first name whenever I come. She also gives me very good rates. Just today, I came in for a haircut but she added in a free hair treatment worth $25 and hand cream all because my birthday is coming up. I didn't even know she does that there! I was extremely grateful for that. Her new assistant, Nancy, was very nice too.

Yen's passion for what she is doing shows in how she deals with her clients. She pays a great deal of attention to them and what they want. I always leave the place not only looking better but also feeling better.

I always look forward to going to the Verve. It is nice to have the owner herself look after you and treat you not just as a customer, but also as someone she cares about. More power to Yen and the Verve.

I have been going to Yen for about 5 years now and I'm sure there are other great people out there in this profession but there is no woman like Yen. She wil come in early or stay late even if it requires her to sit around and wait for you but that is what she does. She does exactly what I ask for and does a terrific job. She is a delight to be around. I wish her all the best because she deserves it.
