After many attempts before my warranty expired trying to get Toyota to do something about my brake pedal going to the floor, when the warranty expired they wanted to charge me $2100 to fix them (front pads, rotors, calipers). Checking with my old garage it only cost $450 because it didn't need calipers and the parts were cheaper. They found the master cylinder was bad and replaced that for $300 (dealer quoted $600 for that when I called). The master cylinder was faulty from day one and they could not find that problem the many times they looked at it.
My nephew had a serious misdiagnosis on his Corolla - Newmarket Toyota said he needed a new head gasket and $2000 to fix and it was only the waterpump - he took it to a garage.
We are very happy with our Tundra and Camry but I definitely will not buy another Toyota because there is no after sales service.
