I was cut off by this company while he was driving like a mad man thru traffic! Then he throws his yellow lights on and drove around the stopped cars at the red light ahead and on to the sidewalk to get by!! Is it really necessary to put my families life in DANGER cause they are trying to go somewhere so URGENTLY to RIP SOMEONE OFF????

from being a dispatcher for 4 towing companies, i can re-assure you that these prices are accurate. you have to realize that yes this is a business that ALL TOWERS are out to make money. you guys have to realize what the towing was for.. was the vehicle in an accident? in the ditch? a big mess that needs to be cleaned up? waiting time for the police to do their investigation? was it the accident in town or on the 401, meaning was it OPP OR DRP??? all OPP calls are the same price NO MATTER WHAT COMPANY YOU GO WITH, they have standard rates that all towers must use... and yes that is $275 just to hook... doesn't matter if they hook your car and drop 2 feet ahead.. as for the re-hooks if it needs to be moved do you expect it to be done for free?? they should all be brought to the pound unless the owner requests somewhere else.. but to complain about prices... is insane, who goes to work and expects not to get paid?? as for the one who said go with who the police tell you too, like i said if its opp they put out a call on the radio, first one their gets it.. yes ALL tow truck drivers are VULTURES.. so before you go and put negative stuff about people, check it out, call around... most places are the same.. and it all depends with cop gets their first.. DRP is MUCH CHEAPER!! but you cant tell an officer to go away ...

I had a accident my my dodge caravan and a JD towing driver showed up to help me and my children out, he was polite and willing to do what ever it took to help us out, they told me they would get me a rental car, and that not to worry my insurance would cover it, and take it to a good body shop. so I agreed to have him tow it. it wasn't for about 2 days till my insurance company said they were not going to cover the towing, I asked why, they said " $945.50 " I was like what, they only towed it maybe 6 kms. so I called them and they said I signed the bill and that is that,

I think it's about time something is done with the prices that a towing company charges.
Case in point, a fee of $275.00 plus $100.00 milage and an additional charge of $100.00 re-hook up fee was charged to take my car less than 10 kilometers to a body shop after it was involved in an accident. The ironic part is that this towing outfit was not even called they were hanging around like vultures waiting for their prey.
