We hired Bytown to cater a small family affair about 27 guests. This was a special evening for us as it was the first time both families (immediate family members and bridal party) were coming together. We organized this with only a week's notice and Bytown was great. Vince (chef) showed up at exactly 6pm along with the bartender (Mike) and they immediately put us at ease & took over the kitchen & the setting up of the bar and tables outside (it was a lovely evening so a last minute change was accomodated and we hosted this in our lovely back yard). Dominic our server showed up during this time & between the 3 fellows they had everything huming along as the guests started to arrive. The food was fabulous (we had way too much food - next time I would involve Vince in the selection... I was so worried about not having enough food that I kept adding to our order). The evening was a success - the families and friends enjoyed a lovely time and Bytown contributed to that success - we will definately have them back again!

ByTown catered oour anniversary cocktail party, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. The service provided by ByTown truly made the event of our 25th anniversary a night to remember. Several people asked for caterers name.

We had our reception at Stanley's Old Maple Lane Farm and had Bytown Catering cater our meal. The food was amazing, the staff was great we could not have asked for a more perfect day.

I would not hesitate to recommend their services to any of my friends or family. I look forward to using them again in the future.

Food was delicious -- however we ordered 120 meals for 105 people at the wedding, they were still missing 6 meals. When we spoke with the OWNER -- he replied "well there was enough food, the chef just plated it incorrectly" and therefore was not willing to refund the meals!!! We were SHOCKED to say the least.
Service was also horrible. We asked for the waiters to service the wine - they charged us for an extra three waiters which we gladly accepted. There were NUMEROUS times when there was no one to be found, and glasses empty. Guests started serving themselves.

The setup the night before the wedding - they were supposed to be there at 3pm, they showed up at 7pm, leaving me (Bride) and the Groom at the reception hall until 1030pm the night before the wedding.

We were willing to resolve this with the owner himself - he made no apologies, simply made excuses.
