I was looking at purchasing a great quality used car and had narrowed it down to Audi, Lexus and Acura 2008 models. I ended up visiting 14 dealers, test driving 7 cars and spending 5-10 hours reading reviews, asking people in the street, and stopping people in their cars...

I was looking at purchasing a great quality used car and had narrowed it down to Audi, Lexus and Acura 2008 models. I ended up visiting 14 dealers, test driving 7 cars and spending 5-10 hours reading reviews, asking people in the street, and stopping people in their cars on the road and asking advice or if they had any challenges.

When I met the team from Acura of North Toronto, it seemed like the last piece in my car buying puzzle.

They were on top of my requests and let me take my time evaluating the 5-7 vehicles they had in stock, agreed to my pricing, and overall made my experience seamless and comfortable. They were up-front about financing, and followed up with me on several angles after my purchase. I ended up meeting the Sales Manager and GM and everyone seemed really connected to my buying experience and very authentic. I appreciated that level of integrity and would recommend to my friends and family to at least visit Acura of North Toronto when considering any vehicle purchases.

The car looks amazing and I even kept the license plate guards on that say the name of the dealer, because I am proud of the quality of business they run. And usually, I would never promote something like that. THANK YOU Acura of North Toronto!

I found out that if you want something you have to fight for it. I had to have my rear passenger side bearing replaced. Did my research. Paid CanTire to make sure it is the correct problem. CanTire quoted me $150 for the part. Called 3 Acura dealerships, each gave me...

I found out that if you want something you have to fight for it. I had to have my rear passenger side bearing replaced. Did my research. Paid CanTire to make sure it is the correct problem. CanTire quoted me $150 for the part. Called 3 Acura dealerships, each gave me different prices from $107 to $126 (never thought that it would be cheaper at the dealerships). I asked on the phone and in person why the prices are different, nobody could give a proper answer. So when the service advisor started quoting me $126 for part and 1.5 hrs of labor. I said I found the part for $117 and I am paying 1 hour of labor. He agreed, and they did the job and washed my car in an hour exactly, I was there.
The lesson is buyer beware, do your research and if you have to fight for it.

Never again will I do business with these guys.
I was very close to buying a used car from them. The vehicle was only 4 years old but the under-side of the car was already very rusty (my mechanic told me he thinks it was standing somewhere for a long time, possibly in water). There were scratches and rusted stone chips, and the car was in an accident and repainted (although the salesperson assured me the CarProof was "clean".)
Needless to say, I managed to get the price somewhat down, and left a deposit on the car.
The car had 4 bald tires that they didn't want to replace, so I cancelled the deal.
The salesperson I dealt with was ridiculously unpleasant, repeating the same things over and over again, while not really listening to me, they just wanted to rip me off by not doing any work on the car prior to sale. The manager wasn't very helpful either.
You'd think a dealership of the caliber of "Acura" would have better customer service and maintain a high quality in their used cars. Not here. Service is virtually non-existent, and you just feel like youre getting ripped off.
Never again will I set foot on Acura of North Toronto dealership again!!!

I have been a service customer of ACURA OF NORTH TORONTO from day one of my 2001 Acura MDX. I have never questioned or refused a schedualed service or repair. I thought I was treated well, and never taken advantage of, especialy with the sugested service sheduals. Well, when last in, I questioned one small sugested service, and was scolded by the service advisor, saying I should call back, because the car was on the hoist, waiting for me. This had never happend to me before. I can understand anyone, including me can have a bad day, but this didnt feel right. I picked up my vehicle and brought it to another dealer, who informed me that nothing was done as I had requested. I paid for fluid changes and inspection, a so called spring special, and received my vehicle lacking coolant, brake fluid, and power stearing liquids. Upon further inspecion, the work which I was quoted on, was incorect! Past sevices have never been done! I feel like I have been cheated and lied to, and am sure I have been taken advantage of. I have found a new dealer, and I am sure it is ACURA OF NORTH TORONTO's loss. Be carfull of those guys!
