We have been using Safe Tech at our house in Toronto for almost three years, and it has been great and we have nothing but good things to say about the company.

Installation was quick and painless, and monitoring has been excellent. Have recommended to my family and friends as they beat the competition in price, and customer service. Hope to stay with them for as long as we have this house.

I am very happy we decided to go with Safetech. The alarm and camera installation went in with out a hitch. I can now view my cameras remotely with my Blackberry following any alarm. I am also notified by email each time my alarm is armed or disarmed. If you are in the market for security you would be foolish not to check these guys out!

I see a couple reviews that aren't so great, which motivated me to write this review. My experience with Safetech has been completely positive. They installed our alarm system about 18 months ago for our four bedroom home in central Toronto. The sales guy was friendly and honest about what we needed, and even steered us away from an expensive upsell. When I showed him a quote from another company, he explained the differences, and took the time to compare the actual equipment that would be installed in each case. What sold me were three of my friends and a co-worker who all use Safetech and had nothing but great things to say.

The installers were courteous, and when the installation proved to be difficult due to a mess of existing wiring in one of my walls, they still got the job done without problems. It was clean, without extra holes or anything like that. The cameras all work great, and everything was done in a single visit, for the price quoted. No issues with the monitoring.

We are happy to find a local alarm company in Safe Tech. We found to many companies that aren't in Toronto. A real person was available when we called to answer all of my questions and give us pricing over the phone. Most companies we called only wanted to make an appointment but wouldn't give any pricing. Safe Tech didn't have all the hidden fees. I didn't like the 3 year contract but that seemed to be what everyone was offering. Our neighbour is using them and they said they did a good job with the wireless alarm they had put in. Everything was install so quick and looks great. It makes sence to me to support a company that local. I would recommend them to my friends and family for security.

I recently had a malfunction with my alarm system. Safetech's office personnel (Sharon) and their installer (Igor)were professional and provided immediate assistance to correct the problem. Safe-Tech installed video surveillance camera system in my house about 3 years ago. Nothing but trouble since day number one. Each and every camera suppose to have its own power supply and in my cause for 6 cameras they installed two only. The remaining 4 were stolen by one of their installers. This caused a bad performance of the system. I suffered for almost a year by the time the problem has been resolved. It took a number of visits (more than 10) to resolve this problem.
In a mean time the initial installation as per Safe-tech recommendation was hooked directly to my PC. Didn't work and was causing all kinds of problems. Finally after about 3 months Safe-tech recommended to purchase a new computer and separate my own PC and cameras. Wow, cost went up by nearly $1000.00. Be aware they are using sub-contractors for all kind of works; they don't have their own technicians. The bottom line is KEEP AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS.

VEYR APPALING SERVICE - TWO SYSTEM FAULTS IN FIVE MONTHS = UNSAFE HOUSE! WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING AN ALARM SYSTEM IF YOU FEEL UNSAFE AT HOME? STANDARD ANSWER - "WE DON'T KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT".

THEY HIRE INSTALLERS WHO DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH CLEARLY AND USES WASHROOM WITHOUT ASKING, AND THEN DOESN'T WASH HIS HANDS!!!

DON'T GO WITH SAFETECH - CANT WAIT TO GET OUT OF CONTRACT.
