WORSE MANI EVER!!! I have had acrylics or gel for over 10 years and never have I had my nails so badly butchered as I did at their Leslieville spa. The girl had a lovely personality but absolutely no ability to do a french manicure. She hacked my nails off with a nail clipper which left the tips rough and crooked, and that was only the beginning. By the time she was done, I had little stubs for nails and the french was just horrid looking...uneven and lumpy. For the first time in years, my nails are naked so they can grow out and recover from this demolition. What a waste of money...I am NEVER going back there!!!

I went into ten stop strictly because I live so close and because it had pretty good reviews. A couple of friends of mine had told me that I should not go there because they had bad experiences multiple times but everyone always has a different experience right? I cant stand people who go on these reviews things and rip the company a new one for petty problems that were more than likely their own fault. Regardless, I guess the whole point of these things are to share your experience for future customers.So, with that being said here was mine. I came 15 minutes early for my appointment and waited there for about 40 minutes (which is no problem, because as I said I did come in early and I had the day off and to be quite honest, had nothing else better to do) then when it was my turn the lady I had been scheduled with barely introduced herself because she was so rushed and the entire time I was in the room she didn't speak a word to me, it made me feel very uncomfortable. Especially because this was my very first time. I understand some people like to work in silence so for this I cant complain but regardless it still made me feel uncomfortable. The end result of the wax looked just about as terrible as it felt. When I went to check out the receptionist was really short with me and almost a bit rude. I understand people have stressful days I just wish I didn't have to suffer for it (so to speak). I'm sure people have great experiences there all the time but unfortunately for me, mine just wasn't. I've recently found a new place and am so happy with it, so I guess thats all that really matters right? Best of luck to Ten spot in the future

I saw this place when I was on the streetcar a few weeks ago and went in yesterday for a facial with one of my friends- we both had a fantastic time, because we were able to talk throughout the whole service (they have the facial bar set up as a social kind of thing)... I had Erica, who did a great job and made me feel really comfortable. The only unfortunate thing is that it's kind of far for me to travel, but apparently they're opening one on Queen east which I hope happens soon!!!

i went there to get my nails done and eventually did the eyebrows shaping as well. The service was pretty good and relatively quick. i do think that it's a bit expensive for a regular manicure(30$ before tax).
