I respect everyone's point of view about this school which may be helpful but here's the truth....this school is so unorganised, half the people on the website are not even there anymore. I have been a student there and I can tell you that you are WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!! they lie to you and tell you things that they can't even deliver. Do not waste your time trust me you will pay for it in every way!

    What?

Exactly WHAT do they lie about and not deliver? If you really want to warn people it would help to have some specifics otherwise you just sound like you're making stuff up.

As someone that seriously reviewed all current programs relating to this field, this is by far the most comprehensive. From working in the field and speaking to other grads from laser training or MA programs, I am much more knowledgeable. Reality is that this is an emerging industry and compared to the other training programs, I felt I got the best value for my money. This is not a training program to become a dermatologist, plastic surgeon or nurse but it is a program for estheticians that want a thorough overview of what is happening in the medical aesthetics industry. I have yet to see any school offer what they do and regardless of what the former front end staff( I hear she's gone to another competitor--be aware of that!) had promised me too, my instructor more than made up for it. I am currently working in a cosmetic clinic due to the training and diploma that I earned at Champlain and the encouragement of the instructors. As for "be aware", you may want to do a reality check and have a visit to other schools and see for yourself. I guarantee that I would not have the certificates, experience, guest speakers, and encouragement I received at this school. If you are in the industry you will realize that every customer, esthetician and owner/operator knows the risks that come with the types of services medical estheticians provide and I know for one this was constantly stressed to me during my program after all, we don't have customers sign Informed Consents for the hell of it. Great program but I realized that within my course some girls will rise to the top and get the better job and some will not. But hey, it's not different from any other industry or school program.

I attended Champlain Institute earlier this year and had a great experience. The instructors (Tara especially) were fantastic and very knowledgable. They helped me find a job (in fact I had two opportunities to choose from) and I love what I am doing. The school is very professional - and there is lots of potential in this growing industry.

I got what I got out of the school when I graduated and I'm working in the field, but the school could provide a more extensive practical application to the demanding field of medical aesthetics. (Most of the time I did my own research) There is a lot of information in the medical aesthetics field and if you don't have the proper knowledge and application, you could surely harm not help someone looking to invest in anti aging treatments using laser and chemical peels. Do your research because the school and the administrator is very eager to get your business and will tell you everything you want to hear including that the field pays up to $45 an hour and jobs are lined up, which so not close to the truth! Be aware!
